Ubuntu
Archbishop Desmond Tutu describes the meaning of ubuntu in the new Vanity Fair:
"We say a person is a person through other persons. You can't be human in isolation. You are human only in relationships."
For me ubuntu means acknowledging my dependence on others, the awareness that I can't accomplish with out you, the work that must be done. May we walk in the strength of togetherness. Being alone hurts us all.
